PSR is the largest physician-led organization in the United States working to protect the public from the threats of nuclear proliferation, climate change, and environmental toxins. Continuing our long history of physician-led activism, we produce and disseminate our own publications, provide specialized training, offer written and oral testimony to congress, conduct media interviews, and deliver professional and public education. 50,000 members and e-activists, 30 state and local chapters, 39 student chapters, and 11 national staff form a nationwide network that target the gravest threats to global survival, specifically nuclear warfare, nuclear proliferation, climate change, and toxic degradation of the environment.
