The UTeach Institute’s mission is to both support replication of the UTeach program at universities across the United States and lead efforts toward continuous improvement of the UTeach program model.
About Us
The UTeach Institute was established in 2006 in response to national concerns about the quality of K-12 education in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and growing interest in the innovative teacher preparation program started in 1997 at The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin), UTeach.
The UTeach Institute employs a comprehensive approach to support and evaluate universities replicating UTeach in order to ensure full program implementation and sustained, measurable success.
