Our mission is to advocate on behalf of all Americans to ensure they have access to adequate mental health resources, to educate the public about how to find and use those resources, and to serve those individuals in need by empowering them to chart their own path to recovery and resilience.About Us
Mental Health America (MHA) is the nation’s oldest and largest community-based network of affiliate organizations dedicated to the long-term wellness of all Americans, especially the one in four adults and one in five children living with a diagnosable and treatable mental health condition. We seek integrated wellness of mind, body, and spirit for all Americans.For over 100 years, MHA’s advocacy, education, and service-delivery mission have enabled the organization to establish for itself a uniquely powerful and influential role within not just the mental health community but the entire national health and social service sector.
