High Tech High's mission is to provide students in grades K-12 with rigorous and relevant academic and workplace skills, preparing its graduates with rewarding lives in our increasingly technological societyAbout Us
High Tech High operates 11 public schools in San Diego County: two elementary schools, four middle schools, and five high schools. All of these schools serve a diverse, lottery-selected student population. All embody the High Tech High design principles of personalization, adult world connection, common intellectual mission, and teacher as designer. High Tech High began in 2000 as a single charter high school launched by a coalition of San Diego business leaders and educators.
