More and more people are finding the job training services at Goodwill that they need to help them find jobs. Our goal is to be a go-to resource to connect people with job opportunities in their communities.

Goodwill’s mission is to provide job-training programs, career, and community services to help people find jobs, earn paychecks, and build their careers. We help people with disabilities, those who lack education and work experience, and others who face challenges to finding employment. Our services include (but are not limited to) helping people write their resumes, teaching essential computer skills for the workplace, teaching people how to put their best foot forward during a job interview, and providing the complementary community services they need to be successful including child care, financial education, transportation, youth mentoring, and others. Goodwill also helps people train for jobs in a variety of fields outside of Goodwill including construction, financial services, healthcare, landscaping, and many other industries. Last year, Goodwill provided job-training services to nearly seven million people.

There are 165 community-based Goodwill agencies in the United States and Canada, with affiliates in 13 other countries. Goodwill agencies are innovative and sustainable social enterprises that sell donated clothing and household items in more than 2,700 stores and online at shopgoodwill.com. Local Goodwill agencies also build revenue and create jobs by contracting with businesses and government to provide a wide range of commercial services, including packaging and assembly, food service preparation, and document imaging and shredding.
