Jeb Bush launched the Foundation for Excellence in Education in 2008 to ignite a movement of reform, state by state, to transform education across America for the 21st century. The Foundation supports governors, lawmakers, statewide education officials, business leaders, and reform advocates in their efforts to initiate, advance, and adopt reforms that improve the quality of education in classrooms across our nation.

Our vision is an education system that ensures each and every student achieves his or her God-given potential for learning and prepares all students for success in the 21st century economy. Our principles are all children can learn, all children should learn at least a year’s worth of knowledge in a year’s time, and all children will achieve when education is organized around the singular goal of student success.
