About Us

Founded in 1946, Easter Seals of Greater Houston, Inc. is the only area agency that provides services to people of all ages with any type of disability and to their family members. Our dedicated staff provides services to thousands of families each year helping us realize our mission of “Help. Hope. Answers.” Our programs include therapy to help children walk and talk; intervention programs for youth with disabilities to help them graduate; camps, yoga, Gymboree, and pet therapy; a school for children with severe disabilities; support for caregivers of people with disabilities; assistive technology, including use of technology to improve educational, physical, and social outcomes; social skills training for children with autism and other disabilities; adult services; and financial literacy and home buying assistance – all focused on helping people with disabilities achieve their highest levels of independence and integration into our community.
