Mission Statement

Crime Stoppers of Houston’s mission is to solve and prevent crime in the Greater Houston area in partnership with citizens, media, and the criminal justice system. Through the organization’s anonymous tip line, citizens can report crimes that receive immediate action, as well as receive cash rewards for accurate clues.

About Us

In addition to our mission, Crime Stoppers works with elected officials, law enforcement, school districts, local businesses, citizens, and community programs to combat crimes that are affecting the Greater Houston area. Many of the programs are specifically designed to protect children. Our initiatives combat school violence, arrest child predators, prevent domestic violence, and fight human trafficking.

Crime Stoppers is about crime prevention. Our resource works in partnership with citizens and law enforcement to keep neighborhoods, schools, and the business community safe. Houston is home to the most successful Crime Stoppers organization in the nation!
