The Children's Scholarship Fund aims to maximize educational opportunity for all children by offering tuition assistance in grades K-8 for alternatives to faltering conventional schools and by supporting and cultivating education reform and parental choice efforts.About Us
Children’s Scholarship Fund (CSF) was founded in 1998 by Ted Forstmann and John Walton with the aim of maximizing educational opportunity for all children. Since CSF's inception, the lives of 123,000 children across the United States have been changed for the better by $483 million in CSF scholarships. CSF scholarships would not be possible without the generosity of CSF's donors, the efforts of CSF partner programs nationwide, and the sacrifices of the families themselves who pay, on average, 50% of their children’s tuition.
