About Us

Our clients are from all walks of life. They range from highly educated or skilled job seekers to persons disadvantaged by homelessness, disabilities, older age, ex-offenders status, and other significant barriers.

Through the generosity of our funding sources and supporters, we continue to meet the needs of the Houston community. This year we served over 9,800 adults and more than 12,000 youth through a variety of activities. We expanded employment services for veterans, homeless individuals, individuals within 200% of poverty, and individuals impacted by Hurricane Ike, and we provided youth from low-income families with summer jobs. We continue to help individuals overcome chemical dependencies and reach youth with drug prevention messages. All the above was accomplished through partnerships with over 115 community organizations and employers.
