Since 1968, Switchboard of Miami, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has helped families, individuals and youth in the Miami-Dade County meet life’s daily challenges through comprehensive telephone crisis counseling, suicide prevention, and information and referral services that are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Driven by our mission to connect people in need with community resources, Switchboard prides itself on being the gateway to every available social service in the Miami-Dade County and beyond. Provided by trained staff, volunteers, interns and AmeriCorps workers, Switchboard meets the needs of our community through three distinct programs: HELPline Services, Prevention and Clinical Services, and Senior Services.
