About
The mission of PathPoint is to provide comprehensive training and support services that empower people with disabilities or disadvantages to live and work as valued members of our communities.
For more than 45 years, PathPoint has provided employment services, independent living programs and day programs for low-income people with special needs. Incorporated in 1964 as a nonprofit organization to provide services to people who require special assistance, PathPoint today is a leader in providing employment, day programs, and residential support services.
Through person-centered planning and individual service delivery, we serve people with physical and cognitive disabilities, mental illnesses, and economic disadvantages. Headquartered in Santa Barbara, PathPoint has division offices and programs in Santa Barbara, Ventura, San Luis Obispo, Los Angeles, and Kern counties. In 2010-2011, PathPoint served more than 2,300 participants throughout the five counties.
